Who We Are
Founded in April 2005, the Krewe of the Mustang Sallies & Ryders was born from a shared desire to connect, celebrate, and give back—without losing individuality along the way. Created by a group of socially conscious business professionals, the Krewe was designed as a welcoming space for networking, friendship, and community involvement, all wrapped in a bold western-meets-Gasparilla spirit.

Much like the untamed mustang, our Krewe is spirited, daring, fun-loving, and unapologetically independent. We don’t ride with the herd—we set our own trail. Inspired by the legend of Mustang Sally—a symbol of fearless women, grit, and freedom—we embrace a culture that celebrates strength, independence, and camaraderie, with a little edge and a lot of heart.
The Krewe is made up of approximately 70 members, predominantly women, with our Ryders (the cowboys) proudly riding alongside us. Our members span all ages, backgrounds, and professions, bringing a diverse blend of perspectives, talents, and energy. While we come from different walks of life, we are united by a shared appreciation for community, connection, and having a damn good time.
